Yes, there are and we work with trusted filming equipment service providers whether its a company or an individual- we get the best rates because of the long-term association. Besides we own some basic equipment such as Cameras & lenses, Drones, lights, and sound equipment which is enough for the small filming crew. Having said that bringing your own equipment is not a problem in Nepal, once you have approved filming permit, the item of equipment brought by the production crew is already listed there and it takes only a few minutes to get the customs clearance

. So, we recommend both based on the production houses’ preferences. The only concern about hiring the film equipment, especially with high-end equipment is about the availability at that particular period as normally they are booked in advance. If time allows and everything is finalized well in advance, we do work in collaboration with equipment rental houses in Mumbai, Delhi, and Calcutta in India. We can get the high ends or unavailable equipment from there but it must be listed in the permit document for the custom clearance at the land borders.
