“The Himalayan Living Stories” – Trinetra Productions & Crescent Pictures UK

This documentary is still in the development phase and for prominent OTT platform- zee5. The documentary covers the major historical changes in Nepal from 1950 and 2008- the end of Rana Oligarchy, the movement for democratic reforms,  Workings of constitutional monarchy, the crisis resulting from the 201 royal palace massacre, the Maoist insurgency and subsequent events leading to the abolition of Monarchy and the emergence of Nepal as Republic. Nepal’s relations with its neighbors and other key countries during this period was also explored. We supported in finding the high level participants who can participate in this documentary such as former government functionaries & diplomats, royal family members and thought leaders. Some key political leaders were also approached and were part of the film. Due to the sensitive issues covered in the topics, initially there were concerns from the Nepal Film Board and Ministry of Information but after round of meetings, we were able to convince them and was finally able to obtain the permit for the project
